Citizenship by Descent: Consulate Wait Times?

Hey everyone. I'm looking into getting Mexican citizenship through my parents. I know they have the paperwork for it. But how long does it usually take at the consulate? Just trying to plan things out. Any advice is appreciated.

¡Qué onda! Yo tardé un montón en mi trámite para la ciudadanía. Depende mucho del consulado, pero en mi experiencia, prepárate para esperar varios meses. ¡Suerte con eso!

  Yeah, it really seems to vary. Some people fly through it, others are stuck waiting forever. Good to know it's not just me hearing that. Thanks for confirming, @pozolover_3!
