My Spanish brain freezes - Anyone else?
I'm trying so hard to learn Spanish here in Cancún. My brain just goes totally blank sometimes. I forget basic words mid-sentence. It's pretty embarrassing lol. Does this happen to you guys too?

¡Jaja, sí, me pasa un montón! Especially when I try to sound too fancy. The other day I wanted to ask for "agua de Jamaica" and just stared blankly. It gets better with practice though. Keep at it!
Totally! "Modo siesta" is the perfect way to put it. My brain does the same thing here in Cancún. I'm glad I'm not the only one! We're definitely all in this together.

Haha, "modo siesta" is genius! It totally happens to me in Cancún too. Especially when I'm tired or just thinking too hard. So glad I'm not alone in the brain freeze zone!
Oh, absolutely! It's like my brain just goes on vacation. I've definitely been there with forgetting simple words. It's funny how the more you try to force it, the harder it is. We're all in the same boat!
