Weekend trip from CDMX: Coast or mountains?

I've been in CDMX for a while now. I'm thinking about a quick weekend getaway. Should I head to the coast or maybe find a mountain town? I'm open to suggestions. What do you recommend?

Hey! Both are great options. For the coast, maybe check out Puerto Escondido. It's a bit of a journey but totally worth it for the surf vibes. Mountains could be more chill if you want to escape the city noise.

  Totally get that. Puerto Escondido's surf is definitely a draw. But yeah, for a quick chill escape, mountains are hard to beat. I feel that.

Yeah, Puerto Escondido is tempting for sure. Surf vibes sound pretty good. Mountains do seem more chill though, for a quick escape. Good point!
