Retirement living by a lake: Pros and Cons?
I'm looking at lakeside towns for retirement. Thinking about the pace of life. What's the real deal with healthcare access though? And any tips on part-time residency rules would be great. Just trying to get a feel for things.
¡Hola!
Hey there! Chapala is pretty walkable in the main town. You can definitely get around without a car. For healthcare, private clinics are available. They're decent for most things.
That's a good question about bigger hospitals. I haven't needed one yet. But a good clinic nearby is a great start, right? Jaja. Hopefully, someone else chimes in with that info.
Chapala suena bien, me da curiosidad. ¿Es fácil moverse sin coche por ahí? Me da un poco de cosa lo de la salud, la verdad.
