I've been in Mexico City for a bit now. I love how friendly people are here. But sometimes the street vendors talk SO much! Is this normal everywhere? Maybe I'm just not used to it.

Oh totally! It's super common, especially in busy places. They're just trying to make a living, you know? You can just politely say "no, gracias" and keep walking. They usually get the hint.
Jaja, sí, total. En el centro de GDL es igual. O sea, se entiende que buscan vender algo. Un "no, gracias" es suficiente. A veces hasta se ríen y te dejan en paz.
