Guadalajara rent: Does 2 months deposit make sense?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for an apartment in GDL. Some places are asking for a two-month deposit. Is this standard here? I've never paid that much before. Just want to make sure I'm not being taken advantage of, lol.

¡Hola! Pues mira, sí es bastante común pedir dos meses de depósito aquí. A veces hasta tres. Tómalo con calma y busca bien.
