Llevo un tiempo en Mérida y ya me siento más en casa. Pero todavía me trabo a veces con las palabras. Últimamente me confundo entre 'cuenta' y 'factura' al pagar. ¿Es normal o solo yo? Jaja.

Oh, I get that too! Honestly, I use "cuenta" for just the bill at a restaurant. "Factura" sounds more official, like for a purchase you need a receipt for. Idk if that's totally right though! Jaja.
