Renta alta en CDMX: ¿Depósito normal o exagerado?

Ando buscando depa nuevo en la Ciudad de México. Me piden un depósito que se siente súper alto. ¿Es común este monto aquí? ¿Alguien ha negociado esto? O tal vez hay trucos para no pagar tanto. Ayuda, ¡porfa!

Ugh, yeah, sometimes they really do ask for way too much. I've heard the fancier neighborhoods are nuts with deposits. Honestly, maybe try looking a bit outside the super touristy spots, you might find something better.

Hey! Yeah, "colonias nice" definitely hit harder. I'm looking in slightly less central areas. Hoping that helps with the deposit!
