INM cita held up: Lawyer needed?

Hey everyone. I need to get my temporary residency renewed soon. My INM appointment is taking forever to get scheduled. Has anyone hired a lawyer for this? Does it actually speed things up? Tbh, I'm worried about missing the deadline.
