Funny Spanish sounds: 'Perro' vs 'Pero' - anyone else?

My Spanish is getting better, but pronunciation is tricky! I keep hearing 'perro' and 'pero' and sometimes they sound SO similar. Lol. It makes me laugh when I mess them up. Does anyone else struggle with these sounds? Tbh, I mix them up sometimes still.

Yeah, that rolling 'rr' in 'perro' is tough! Tbh, I still catch myself saying it too flat sometimes. Makes ordering a dog (perro) instead of just "but" (pero) an adventure, jaja.

  Jajaja, sí! A mí también me pasa mucho. ¡Imagínate pedir un "pero" y que te traigan un "perro"! Jaja.

  Haha, yes! That would be quite a surprise. I try to roll my R's for "perro" but sometimes it just comes out wrong. 😂
