Spanglish pronunciation confusion: 'Trabajo' vs 'trabajo'?

My Spanish is improving, but I still mess up some sounds. Like, is 'trabajo' (work) pronounced the same as 'trabajo' (I work)? It sounds identical to me sometimes! Lol. Any tips on this?
