¿Es normal que 'ahorita' signifique tantas cosas?

I'm still learning Mexican Spanish, and 'ahorita' is a tricky one. It seems like it can mean right now, in a little bit, or even later. Does anyone else find this word confusing? Tbh, it trips me up a lot. Jaja.
