Do Mexicans use coasters for drinks?

Hey everyone, I'm in Oaxaca and loving the vibes. I've noticed something funny though. When people have drinks, I rarely see them use coasters. Is this a thing? Or am I just not looking in the right places? I'm always worried about my tables back home, haha.
