¿Es normal que me pregunten sobre mi familia al rentar depa?

Me he dado cuenta de que al buscar un lugar para rentar, me preguntan mucho sobre mi familia. ¿Es algo común aquí en México? Siento que en mi país no era tan relevante. Quizás quieren saber si habrá mucho ruido o algo así. Pero sí, es un poco extraño. ¿Qué piensan ustedes?
