¿Güey, órale, neta? - My funniest slang misunderstandings
Okay, I admit it. My Spanish is still a work in progress. Sometimes I use words and people look at me funny. Or worse, I think I understand something and totally miss the point. Jaja. Anyone else have hilarious slang fails?
Oh man, I feel this so hard. My go-to was always using "chido" for everything. Apparently, it's not *that* universal. My landlord just gave me the strangest look last week. So yeah, definitely been there!
Haha, "chido" is a classic! It's definitely more common in some places than others. My landlords here in Oaxaca would probably react the same way. Good to know for sure!
