How long does it take to get a driver's license?

Hey everyone. I've been in Mexico City for a few months now. I need to get a driver's license soon. My temporary visa is still valid. I'm just wondering about the process. How long does it usually take to get one?

¡Hola! Yo la saqué en Guadalajara, no en CDMX, pero creo que es parecido. Te piden muchos papeles, prepárate. A mí me tomó como dos citas, la primera fue pura burocracia. ¡Suerte!

  Yeah, two appointments sounds about right. They really want to see all your documents. I did mine in CDMX too. Just be ready for the waiting game.

  Jaja, sí, ¡eso del waiting game es muy cierto! A mí en GDL también me pidieron un montón de papeles. Lo más tardado fue conseguir la constancia de no infracciones.
