Lake towns vs. Pacific coast for retirees

I'm a US retiree looking at options. Lakeside towns like Chapala seem peaceful. But the Pacific coast also has a lot to offer. Wondering about the pros and cons for us retirees. Thinking about lifestyle and costs.

Pues, mira, yo estoy en Querétaro y conozco algo. Para retirados, Chapala sí es buena onda, muy tranquilo. La costa tiene más ambiente, pero también más gente, jaja. Depende de lo que busques.
