¿Por qué tantos perros se llaman como personas?

La neta, he notado esto un montón aquí en Playa del Carmen. Caminando por el parque, escucho a la gente llamar a sus perros y los nombres suenan como de humanos. Tengo un amigo que llama a su perro 'Chuy'. ¿Es normal? Me da risa. A mí me gusta más ponerles nombres de personajes de películas.

Haha, yeah, I totally get what you mean! It's super common here. My landlord's dog is named "Luis." It definitely makes me chuckle sometimes. Maybe it's just a Mexico City thing too, idk.

  Jaja, Luis! That's hilarious. Yeah, it's definitely not just CDMX. My host family's dog is called "Paco." I thought it was funny too.
