Remote work: Dealing with US employer taxes while in Mexico?

Hey everyone! I'm a product designer working remotely from CDMX. My US employer is asking about taxes now that I'm living here long-term. Do I pay US taxes, Mexican taxes, or both? Has anyone navigated this before? Any advice is super helpful!
