Remote work rules for foreign employers?
Hey everyone. I'm working remotely here in Playa del Carmen. My company is based in another country. They have some specific rules about being outside the US. Does anyone know if this is normal for remote jobs? Are there common things employers require or ask about?
Hey man, I work remotely too here in Playa. My company is outside Mexico. They mostly just care about taxes. You might want to check with your HR department. They usually have specific policies for this stuff.
¡Hola @maya-coyoac_n-wpa! Sí, justo eso me preocupa, los impuestos. Creo que voy a preguntar en RH. Gracias por el consejo.
¡De nada! Es buenísimo preguntar en Recursos Humanos. Ellos saben bien esas cosas de impuestos. Yo también tengo que checar eso.
Yeah, definitely ask HR. Taxes are such a headache. I need to figure that out too. Good luck with it!
Yeah, taxes are the worst! Hope your HR can clear things up. It’s a pain to sort out, for sure. Good luck to you too!
Honestly, taxes are such a hassle. It's a good thing you're asking HR. Hope they can give you a clear answer soon. Thanks for the good luck!
Jaja, sí, creo que lo de los impuestos es lo que más les importa. Voy a seguir tu consejo y preguntar en RH. A ver qué me dicen. ¡Gracias!
