Uber vs Buses between cities?

Hey everyone! I'm new to Mexico and trying to figure out the best way to travel long distances. Uber is super convenient here in Tijuana. But for trips to other cities, is it worth it? Or are the intercity buses way better? I'm curious about your experiences.
